Quite literally no club that needs a striker can afford him unless he goes to Saudi which he won’t. If he doesn’t agitate for a move to bring the price down a bit, which he might the you never know, he’s not going anywhere. With the way club finances are nowadays, players like Isak dont just go on the market and move.

If Joelinton is back I would do that. That was pretty much how we played when we finished 4th and Willock and Isak have shown some good chemistry too.

He only spent one season at atalanta and got 9 goals. It was mental of them to drop 70 million on him but it was about when haaland, isak and nunez all moved and they HAD to sign a big money striker to keep up appearances. -

Agree with that, wouldn't be surprised if we kept Targett and Lascelles from that list as well. even if they never play you need a squad. If you let Targett go for example what do you do for backup for Hall? You'll be hard pressed to find another experienced pro at targetts level for less money imo. He's had some terrible luck with his fitness but hes a capable premier league player when hes fit.
