  1. Thats fair enough, I would expect it to be a new ground tbh, even then I'd expect 60-65k capacity, its the done thing lately. Now also to be fair, I didn't say grounds turn over little money, I said bums on seats do by which I mean regular punters through the turnstiles. Matchday revenue is built so much on the more expensive box seats that increasing our capacity in that regard matters much more than increasing regular capacity.
  2. You're assuming that the intention of a bigger ground is to turn a profit for the owners in terms of ticket sales. The commercial income would skyrocket with a 60k ground with an improved corporate set up even though the relative increase in seats is fairly low. Bums on seats is important for atmosphere and optics but it turns over surprisingly little money for PL clubs. Infrastructure costs are not included in FFP/PSR, match day revenue is. So its an outlay for PIF that won't return them any cash in the short term (though it would increase the clubs resale value) but would translate into spendable money for the club within the current regulations which means we get better, we get bigger, we get in the CL more, they can entertain their fancy pals at their state of the art PL ground on european nights and they can continue to launder their reputations. We're not operating like a spurs or west ham in this regard. Its not about the money, its about sports washing.
  3. If you could explain to me exactly what that means or why its a problem though I'd appreciate it.
  4. Im not a murdering evil man.
  5. I'm in support. This isn't something I'm going to put a technical limit on however, we have none of that and a small enough community to self manage with minor moderation. Bear in mind however that you'll fill your media allowances up quickly so you'll need to delete stuff as you go.
  6. Maybe, its supposedly a 50 million bid though which is a lot to replace your backup winger when you'd think that could buy a first 11 upgrade in one of our other spots. I know its about what players are available at the time etc. but we can't just keep buying left wingers 'cause decent ones are on sale.
  7. Aye thats an odd link. Almost entirely a left winger with a bit of central play in his career.
  8. I would like to congratulate Donald Trump on becoming the United States first female president. This is based on his executive order establishing that the US only officially recognises two genders and defines them such that everyone in america is now female.
  9. Did you see much of him at Inter? Have man u ruined him?
  10. Of the older soccer saturday generation I'm actually going to go for Charlie Nicholas. He probably is smarter than Merson and Le Tissier really but he sticks out in my mind for getting really mad at something Stelling said at his expense and being completely unable to form a comeback at all. No bants. Of the modern lot its hard to look past Ferdinand, thick as shit and desperate to be viral/cool. His fucking Balon d'or thing when Bellingham scored in the euros was one of the most cringeworthy things I've seen in a sports broadcast.
  11. Calculated risk but letting Almiron and Kelly go this month and being able to properly operate in the market in Summer is one I'd take. Yes we'd be technically weaker without them but they've got less than 900 mins for us put together this season, we can cover that loss imo but they don't get more valuable in summer by virtue of having less contract time and playing so little.
