Chelsea at home in the cup.

Despite the fact we've knocked them out of the cup in successive seasons....

We're bound to do it again then, aren't we? ;)

My point being that we thought we'd get utterly spanked by them both times, yet ended up beating them.

Hence I'm not willing to discredit our chances quite yet.

I'd take Chelsea at home over just about any other team left in it away, to be honest, excepting Charlton and Southend. We generally put on a good show at home against the big teams in the cup.

On the plus side, one of Arsenal and Liverpool is going out, meaning if we do get through, we have less of a chance of getting drawn with one of the big four again.

beat Chelsea and its a big chance to win the cup

On the other hand, it also guarantees that one of Arsenal and Liverpool remain IN the competition.

Err, no. This is Newcastle United, and if we were indeed fortunate enough to beat Chewsee we would only get knocked out in the next game (semi, is it?) by an inferior team (inferior to Chewsee, of course, as no-one left in the competion is inferior to us - other than Southend perhaps, but even that is debateable atm).
