And now, the end is near;

And so I face the final curtain.

My friend, I’ll say it clear,

I’ll rest my case, of which I’m certain.

 

I’ve had a team that’s crap.

I’ve challenged each and ev’ry player;

And more, much more than this,

I did it my way.

 

Fights, I’ve had a few;

But then again, I am a bully.

I did what I used to do

And saw it through without exemption.

 

I got rid of all the flair,

And then bought Amdy Faye

But more, much more than this,

I did it my way.

 

Yes, there were games, which you all saw

with no tactics and just long balls.

But through it all, there was no doubt,

I f*cked it up and I was out.

I did all wrong and nothing right;

But did it my way.

 

I was hated, right from the start,.

I’ve had my fill; my share of losing.

And now, as goals subside,

I find it all so amusing.

 

To think I did all that;

And may I say – in a proper way,

No, oh no not me,

I did it my way.

 

For what is a team, that cannot win?

having a squad that is paper thin.

You do the right things and make sure;

not to sign bloody Ozzie Moore!
