Dr Gloom 21760
i wonder if fletcher and flintoff will finally pick the team they should have played from the first test onwards.
JJ 0
So what are the chances of Monty Panesar playing in this test then?
Tooj 17
Pressure on Panesar is totally unfair now like.
JJ 0
Pressure on Panesar is totally unfair now like. Â Aye it's a shame like. It's going to be a big few days for him. Â Australia 45/0.
JJ 0
England wicket and YET AGAIN it's Hoggard. Hayden out. Australia 47/1. Â That's the good news. Bad news it brings bloody Ricky Ponting to the crease.
Meenzer 15347
That's the good news. Bad news it brings bloody Ricky Ponting to the crease. I wouldn't be too worried..... Â Â Gerrin
JJ 0
Aye Ricky Ponting in getting out before a century shocker. And the Monster strikes! Â 69/3. Good morning for England. Hopefully this is the start of the fightback. England have to win this test, and if they can bowl Australia out cheaply then they'll give themselves every chance. Easier said than done though, but a very good start.
Woodgate27 0
To be honest I wouldn't mind England winning this match, it would give the boxing day test some meaning. And it would mean I'm there when we win back the ashes.
Gemmill 44109
Panesar's taken two in a couple of overs now, second and third wickets of the day. Makes the decision not to play him in the first two tests look utterly moronic really.
JJ 0
Well done to Panesar in proving he should be in the side. I worried that the pressure on him was getting to him as he struggled a bit at times, bowling long hops and getting spanked for 17 in one over. Got himself back in very well though and credit to Flintoff for leaving him on. Â The 3 biggest threats Australia have IMO are Ponting, Hussey and Gilchrist. Fair enough Hussey is closing in on 50, but to get Ponting out for 2 and to get Gilchrist out for 0 is a great effort on the first day. Â 6/184 at tea.
