Maybe because Democrats are statistically less likely to be backing their tow-truck into the poll booth, thereby lending themselves more readily to question taking?

And if Less contested seats... perhaps that's because your boss has made his party so unpopular with the country they'd rather distance themselves from the party entirely?

just a thought or two

Democrats have the majority now in the House of Representatives which personally I think is a good thing and not in the kneejerk reaction fashon against republicans, and have come closer to gaining the majority in the Senate. IMO a 'too little too late' case to make any kind of difference when it comes to making things more difficult for Dubya and his cronies right now but I'm hopeful it's a new swing on the whole 'politiking' scene.[soapbox] Locally for me tho Leiberman and Rell were re elected... two fucktards who will continue to screw up the state. One an impotent ass, and the other the femine face of a thief's puppet. Rell's predecessor was imprisoned for defrauding the state and is more unethical than the standard political steriotype... she's nothing but his protege and bitch when all is said and done.[/piss and moan soapbox]

After 6 years of Bush, and two more to go, I hardly think being adverse to the Republicans is a 'knee jerk'!

8 years of the dickhead. Thanks, America.
