Extracts from the Little Fred Book

He is basically trying to blame the fans for every appointment (with the exception of Souness). What a joke. Fair enough many thought Dalglish would do a job, but he didn't and the appointment is still his responsibility whether he likes it or not. (He's also lying about not sacking KD, at least according to the subsequent tribunal.) As is Gullit and a few unemployed/school kid charvas turning up to chant his name doesn't get him out of that one. Also, Gullit was an appointment out of the blue not 'the fans choice'. Robson was a good appointment but it was also a 'no-brainer'. He was the best man available and he wanted to come here. Souness was a disaster and Roeder is heading that way.

So in other words, go fuck yourself you fat lying cunt.

Totally agree. And what's more worrying is that is exactly the same bullshit that LM has spouted for ages!

His use of the term fancy Dan. His thinking things that happened ages ago are of some significance (the Roman Empire). Are we really sure they aren't one and the same?

And: "hindsight is a wonderful management tool".

The only thing missing is an attack on those who advocate 'planning'.

And that's implicit.

Seriously, this article gives a worrying insight into the mind of Shepherd. He is selecting managers on the basis of a few fans e-mails? This is what he is being paid hundreds of thousands of pounds for?

"Planning" :unsure::D:angry:

Lovely bit of spin by the fat one this. I especially like the way he's praising us and says he won't slag us, yet in the same breath is basically blaming us for the current situation by claiming we all sent him e-mails saying we wanted Roeder.

Aye, you love the fans like don't you? All our women are dogs and we're thick as fuck and easy to fleece for money, but apart from that, you love us.

You weren't complaining when we were beating Feyenoord in the Champions League though were you? Eh, eh?

Was listening to Talksport around 2ish yesterday and they were talking to a sports journalist (didn't catch his name) about the Newcastle situation. He said:

"For the first time ever, Newcastle United had a great man at the helm in Sir John Hall - a man who put his love for the club at the forefront and had the opinion that success on the field would reap financial bonuses off it. His successor quickly destroyed the legacy that had been been put in place, thinking first and foremost about how much he could make personally from the club and worrying about the on-field matters a distance second. The rapid decline of the fortunes of the club is proof enough that the reign of Freddy Shepherd is one of the biggest cases of football mis-management there has ever been!"

He also went on to comment that no-one was more responsible for how 'great' the Premiership became than Sir John Hall & Kevin Keegan with the brand of football and entertainment they brought to the league in its early days. He finished off by saying that a Premiership without Newcastle United would be a very sad situation for all.

"I have taken flack for it but the players have to stand up and be counted as well. Supporters want to win - they don't want to be fancy dans running up their own backsides.

Just re-read that.....are we sure Leazes isn't him?

I don't want us to win. I want to see us lose 5-4

Sir John Hall didn't want Keegan though, which in defence of Leasesmag, if a very fair point.

Keegan said himself that the main person behind this idea ("plan":D:angry: ) was Freddie Fletcher.

Hearsay, whatever. The fact remains SJH appointed Keegan and fully backed him and let him do his job without meddling interference.

Almost....

He stopped 'meddling' of sorts when KK almost walked due to no cash being made available. That was the difference with Sir John IMO, despite the fact that he was at the top of the tree, he still had the utmost respect for the man who managed the team.

Shepherd on the other hand appears to have no respect and sees Roeder (and the men before him) as inferior to him.

Without the 'level' relationship between manager and chairman, success is bound to be difficult.

That Roman Empire reference is one of the funniest things i've read in ages, what a fucking mong.

What the fuck does that even mean?!

Its a roundabout way of saying no-one wants to come here because Newcastle is in the middle of nowhere.

Perhaps an extention of Shepherd's strange insular beliefs?

can't we use this as proof that he's clearly lost the fucking plot, instigate a vote of no confidence and rapidly remove the chunky fucker from office?
