The killer, the girl, and the cop all have split-personalities. They're all the same person. Isn't that fucked up?

I'm putting in a chase sequence. So the killer flees on horseback with the girl, the cop's after them on a motorcycle and it's like a battle between motors and horses, like technology vs. horse.

The opening scene (no spoilers unless you're planning on seeing it and don't want to see what the first trap is).

Which....just confirms that Amanda is Jigsaw 2.

Brilliant film, there's alot of "fans" who are miffed with it though, as it does ask alot of questions, and the ending was a little predictable. But Troy's trap is one of the tamest.

they're as good as Fast and the Furious tbh.

entertaining in a "This means nothing, challenges nothing and breaks no new ground"... way

me too. The 2 main actresses were shit and the first 20mins of the film had nowt to do with the rest of it apart from a bit of a shock factor.

Shawnee Smith was in no way shit in that film.

Yeah, she's a great actress. That's why she's in Saw 3.

Saw to Brock is to what Freddy Shepherd is to Leazes so it's pointless even talking to him about it.

For your information, patronising though you try to be, that statement if misleading.

Whilst I enjoyed the film as an end to the trilogy, I was a little irked by the way they were tying up loose ends rather cheaply. Why for example were we shown Adam's death and not what happened to Dr Gordon? Yes he died, but we don't see how.

But this isn't a saw forum, I don't have to explain it, and since you've already formed your opinion such an action would be pointless.

Unfortunately, Saw IV has ALREADY been announced. Now what with James Wann and Leigh Whannell saying Saw III was their last film of the franchise, and same for director Darren Bousman (or so I think. But Mark Burg is on board for the next film at least). It's looking like becoming another Friday 13th/Halloween/Nightmare on Elm Street scenario. I;ll see Saw IV, but if it's indicative of things to come I'll stick with the original trilogy thankyouverymuch.

Yeah, she's a great actress. That's why she's in Saw 3.

A movie that's top of the box office. Hmmmm such a movie is likely to be full of second-rate actors isn't it? Shawnee had the chance to expand her role as Amanda, as the character wasn't given so much emphasis in the previous films. She took it well.

It's also truly worrying to see my opinion discredited because of my taste in music.

Your critiquing it like its the latest scorcese film or something. It was just a cheap way to make some cash around halloween for the film company.

Nail on Head tbh

and just because it's top of the pops, it doesn't neccesarily follow that there is a single good performance amongst the players.

you have to bear in mind what it's up against, why people go to movies, what makes for a good acting peroformance etc. etc. etc.

You enjoy it and that's fine, but please stop harping on like it's a modern classic. It's pulp, it's popcorn-tastic, it's not a cult film, nor a seismic shift in cinematography.

I'm not labelling it as a classic, I don't view it as such.

I'm merely stating that it isn't a crap film, as some on here make it out to be.

Both Saw and Saw 2 were released on halloween, thus so was the third. There were always going to be 3 movies, however it has only recently been announced that there will be more (Lionsgate having purchased the domain names how saw 4 - 6). THIS is the corporation squeezing money out of the franchise. But since the creators have left, I'm worried that the series will go to shite. We already have Hostel 2 for poor excuses to show gore in a movie.

It's alot more refreshing to watch this film than the horror-remake trend which is upon us. If I see one more film which features someone's fingers being severed then I shall be somewhat irked.

I'm not trying to convince anyone that this is the best film ever, I've seen numerous films that are better, but fans asked for an end to the trilogy, and that's what they got.
