peasepud 59
Dear Mr Roeder, Im writing this message to thank you for everything you've done for this club, in the short time you've been here we've had a rollercoaster ride Im sure you'll agree. Theres been the up and the downs, the happy time and the sad times. The good win and the bad losses, who could forget such classics as Bolton and of course today. You're tactical genius and nous knows no bounds, Im telling you mate you're in a class of your own, people talked about bringing the likes of Hitzfeld, O'Neill et al here but frankly what would they have done today? I ask you? Your nack of confusing opposition managers is second to none, its obvious what you're doing Warnock must have thought at half time "Im going to have to change things round to take into account the fact of Luque, cos hes sure to start the half", again you foxed him with that one, bring on Emre and Solano thats got him. Then 15 mins in and he sees hes changed and ready to go, again Warnock will have thought about moving things round to counter the Milner/ Luque partnership so just to piss him off you sit Albert back down. Pure fucking genius mate, pure genius! Finally you get him back up and this time Warnocks already on the ropes, you could see his mind going "is he on or sitting down?" but no you go for the kill. Knowing he would attempt to counter the young lad down the wing laying in crosses for the big fella you delivered your final sucker punch. Come on Luque, bye bye Milner. You sir, are a star, back of the net, uppercut, piledriver and Warnocks down! So once again I say....................... you are a fucking retard, fuck off from our club now before you do any more damage, take Shepherd down with you and get as far away from this club and city as you possibly can. Nothing else will suffice, I hate you, didnt want you here in the first place but I was willing to give you a chance because I knew Fatboy had taken the easy cheap option. You have no more chances you're a cock, a totally useless fuck. And while you're on take Terry 'bookies runner' Mac as well, its time that scouse cunt* acknowledged his part in this decline of our once great club * sorry Cath
Mark 0
Couldn't agree more. Taking Milner off was a fuckign joke. Duff had done fuck all, but has a bigger ego than Milner. Cunt
Guest Patrokles
Not sure I agree with that kind of hatred for someone who is essentially a good man. Sure, his team is currently terrible and I'm not supporting him necessarily. But I don't think that kind of vitriol is really justified.

Hes clueless, no words can defend his ridiculous decisions. When you sit through what we've had to today then you'll understand. No offence, but hearing it on the radio would not have done justice to just how bad it was today.

That doesn't mean I'm going to take an intense personal hatred to and vilify Roeder, whether I blame him or not. I don't like and I don't agree with that kind of senseless and unjustified reaction. Would I like to see change at the club? Sure. But I'm not going to be hoying bricks through Glenn's window because he's not a bad or evil person. He's just out of his depth. TheInspiration 1
Heh heh, had to laugh at that. I don't fully agree about him being a cock and hating him - he's (to most players...) a nice bloke, but the bottom line is he's an awful manager. And yes that includes Souness, once in a while Souness would know what to do to get us out of bother, Roeder hasnt got a clue. As for the sooperfan comment, you can fuck right off with that one, I could never claim to be a superfan, I go to home games only however when the time comes to have a say about the shit thats going on on that pitch then Im sure Im in a far better position than someone who sits 200 miles away and watches it on the telly or pops the radio on to check the score. If he leaves this club then Im more than happy to buy him a pint and natter about the weather. Its what goes on in his head before, during and after the games that Im bothered about. Watch his interview on MOTD tonight he'll stand there like a lost rabbit not knowing what to say then come out with the "gave 100%" bollocks. No Glenn they didnt, there was one person on that pitch who had a chance of turning the game if a striker was there to take his crosses and you took him off. This is a pointless discussion. Vent if you want, but don't take it out on me. The dismissive way you're referring to my commitment to the team makes my supafan comment perfectly justified. I haven't once disagreed with anything you've said about the performances of the team, or what goes on on the pitch. I haven't sat here and pontificated about anything like that. I just disagreed with the petty name-calling of someone who doesn't deserve it. So don't make this into an argument about who the better qualified fan is. But, whatever. I'm done. I think if you actually watch his interview, you'll find he doesn't say anything of the sort: Newcastle manager Glenn Roeder: "It was the poorest performance since I've been back involved with the first team. We can't have any more like that. "I can understand the fans being disappointed as we didn't perform anywhere near the level we can. "It is very difficult to take any positives out of the whole of the 90 minutes of that match."

So he's been honest, but there is no way ANYONE could have defended that shocking performance, he's done the easy bit and agreed we were shit, now lets see him turn it around, thats the dificult bit, talk is cheap, its the actions which are harder, I personally don't think he can turn this around. Burying our heads in the sand will get us relegated. Shepherd out, Roeder out.

OK im sorry, I took it out on you and I apologise however theres no way Im apologising for the original rant, its how I feel and Im not going to beat around the bush its time people understood just how bad it its. And Im sorry like but just cos hes a nice bloke doesnt mean he cant be called a wanker when he deserves it. We are a multimillion pound business and cant hold on for sentiment and not hurting feelings. Theres no nicer bloke in football than SBR and we treat him like shit. Fair enough, Im wrong there (not wanting to pull the "superfan" card) but I was busy walking back from the game when he said it. But yes Glenn there is a positive I can take out of the game, your days are now seriously numbered so its not all bad news.
Fop 1
Theres no nicer bloke in football than SBR and we treat him like shit. TBH in that context alone FFS is pretty much getting what he deserves, that whole thing was a debacle in a personal context and in a proffesional one as well. What worries me more than GR's performance as manager is: 1. who on earth would come here and replace him? Martin O'neill wouldn't come in the summer because of the way Fat Freddie treated SBR, and o other top class managers were falling over themselves to come to Newcastle when we ended up with Souness and then Roeder. 2. Could ANY manager actually get much more out of the current squad (especially with the current injuires). Depressing as hell.

Sima 0
No man in their right mind would take this job. It's wrecked the careers of a lot of high profile managers now and no doubt better ones than we will attract now. The manager's posistion at Newcastle is fast turning into career suicide tbh

Well Bobby Robson took a side heading for the Championship and with only one or two additions turned us around... so there are managers out there capable, unfortunately the thing that will prevent that happening again is sitting in throne, being advised by this guy
