Also, I've heard the next generation of games are going to run on Direct X 10 or something, which is exclusive to Vista. Is this true, and what are the implications? So should I wait or buy now? If I wait, will Vista push up the price of the new PC significantly? And do I need to get any hardware that is DX 10 compatible? And when's it due out? I was just thinking this lunchtime how some people are really unlucky to get made redundant at this time of year (not that any time is better, of course. You know what I mean) This is just the pits and I cannot begin to say how bad someone losing their job makes me feel.
