I've seen one of his stand-up DVDs and it was ok, nowt special. He basically just stands and bombards you with the sort of one-liners he comes out with on 8 out of 10 cats, but it should be entertaining enough. Class iywmho. Taking the piss out of him and taking money off him in the same issue. Having said that i think he's canny funny, and it's probably part of his sense of humour that Viz are takin the piss out of him in the same publication he's advertising in. We were sitting in row G and for some reason row C is the front row at the City Hall. There was a lad sitting two rows behind us and only a couple of seats along, and he had the piss ripped out of him all night. He ripped into some idiotic charver who tried to heckle him calling him a Tory and asking if he went to the same barber as Stephen Fry and then claimed that he'd "ripped him to pieces" with his heckling. Needless to say when Carr had finished with him 5 minutes later (or more specifically finished describing how he'd been in a gang bang with this lad's mother ) we didn't hear another peep from him for the rest of the night. Speaking of Ross Noble him and Paul Merton were on cracking form on Have I got news for you on friday as ever, always works well with those two in tandem!
