zico martin 90
I really need to upgrade my ram memory but is there anyway I can find out what kind of memory I need to get without opening the case up? I thought if there was a way I could identify my motherboard in windows I would be able to find out online what type I would need to get, any suggestions? wykikitoon 20708
When you boot up your PC when you have the POST screen your memory gets counted up. On most BIOS it tells you what sort memory you have. If its a newish PC I would bet on DDR memory. Check that screen though
Craig 6700
1. Go to http://www.belarc.com/ 2. Click on 'FREE DOWNLOAD' and then click 'Download Belarc Advisor' 3. When you've got it on your PC, run it and it will carry out an audit of your PC and report back on an HTML page. 4. One of the items reported is 'Memory Modules'. This should give you all the info you require

nufc4ever 0
Try this if your PC is branded: http://www.crucial.com/store/listmfgr.asp?cat=RAM You don't have to buy it direct from them, like.
