Shearergol 0
Chopra has certainly found his level; looking excellent this season. Premiership is just a bit too much of a step up for him at the moment.

Optimistic Nut 104
Chopra has certainly found his level; looking excellent this season. Premiership is just a bit too much of a step up for him at the moment. Agree 100% with that. You just need to look at the players he's competing with for top scorer in that league...Rasiak, Earnshaw, Gray, Blackstock. All players not good enough for the Premiership but more than enough for the Championship.
wykikitoon 19807
Well played Rocky. Happy for the lad, so many times under the shadow of Shola and Luque. Nugent plaed well apparently, lots of pace too from what the commentator said!

It's a myth he's in the Championship really, because he was great a couple of seasons ago - scored more than Ameobi has ever done in a Premiership season tbh. snakehips 0
The Mackems must be sick of the sight of Rocky Chopra 26,500-ish at SOS tonight. I must have imagined hearing a mackem on talksport tonight say 'We're backing him (Quinn) all the way' ??? Such a pity for media darling Denise Wise anarl tonight. Premiership is just a bit too much of a step up for him at the moment. Had the opportunities been reversed, you could for Chopra, read Ameobi. Agreed. What I also fail to understand is why people are all hot and sweaty for Nugent and yet Rocky (who bleeds black & white) is only 2 years older (23/21), has scored 10 from 14, when Nugent has scored 4 from 13 games. They play for 1st and 2nd respectively so team support isn't an excuse. He was never going to be Shearer but chances are we will never have another Shearer anyway. David Kelly 1217
The killer is everytime I hear anyone talk about him they are saying how good his movement is up front whereas we seem to have spent £10m on a player who doesn't move at all. I wouldn't like to say Chopra will ever be a good premiership player, but I would have liked us to give him a chance when we had a decent team out instead of only playing him when we were down to the bare bones. Gemmill 44109
I bet Chopra's celebration was nowt compared to the primal scream he unleashed on the mackems last season. That was hilarious, he didn't have a clue what to do with all the adrenaline, so just started screaming like a madman.
