Jimbo 175
Newcastle keeper Shay Given has stepped up his recovery from a serious injury by returning to training. The 30-year-old had emergency surgery after he suffered a perforated bowel in a collision with West Ham's Marlon Harewood on 17 September. Since Given's injury, the Magpies, with Steve Harper deputising in goal, have picked up two points from a possible 18 in the Premiership. Given was named Newcastle's player of the year last season.
