Guest alex
Can anyone explain the point of having Luque on the bench when he doesn't get on on Saturday? And giving Milner 10 minutes was taking the piss too. And to top it all off, our best player against Charlton is a kid on loan from Man Utd. I wouldn't call Nicky Butt a kid, for he was the match sponsors man of the match
snakehips 0
Rodders cannot say anything else but praise his players' efforts. He's now in the situation that if he says the wrong thing, the players will just switch off completely - something I reckon which could be beginning to happen already imo. Gemmill 44242
Saturday's game is gonna be a real struggle after having played in Palermo less than 48 hours earlier. What price us to lose both?
geordieshandy 0
Don't think we hav the fire power to get a result over there, I think Neil Warnock's team will also provide a sterner and more competive test than Dowie's lot. So no, it doesn't look great for the Rodent.

I don't even think we should make any attempt to win in Italy. We absolutely HAVE to get 3 points against Sheffield United. Not going to be easy when we can't score, maybe we shouild pray for a dodgy penalty.........

If the Sheffield United that played at Stamford Bridge on Saturday turns up next weekend, we're in trouble.

Sheffield United haven't won away yet so they will be hoping for 3 points against a side with the third worst home record (and no win since the first day of the season). adios 717
That does slightly change things...I was sure it was at the Bridge. Anyway, they did well against Chelsea, so I'm worried, if a bit less so now.
sweetleftpeg 0
At half time they've got the Seria A highlights on now every week on the teles downstairs. Saturday gone they showed Palermo stuffing AC Milan at the San Siro and all you could here was a collective big groan...

Guest alex
To be serious for a moment, I think Roeder's a goner if we lose on Thursday then Saturday. Has to be really. Wonder if any contingency 'planning' has been undertaken. "Al, Freddie here.......Freddie Shepherd"
sweetleftpeg 0
If we fail to win Saturday he'll go, especially if Watford and Charlton win which is a strong possibility. Like you said last week though Alex, it would be nice to think they'll give Roeder his old job back rather than hoying him on the scrap heap. Bet we get Steve fucking Bruce.
