Gemmill 44184
He really did look good the other night, and showed some of those spinny-round moves in the middle of the park. I'm canny pissed off we have to give him back in Jan now cos I'd have liked to have seen a bit more of him.

Park Life 71
And we've been leaving him on the bench whilst playing a crocked Ameobi People have been singing his praises for a couple of years now, very good player. Needs more starts.

It also goes to show what a difference one classy forward, with nice link-up play, can make. Edited October 26, 2006 by Patrokles

I'm a bit surprised by the whole deal - neither team are benefitting from this transfer if we're just leaving him on the bench. Perhaps our plan is to keep him as a sub until Man United tell us to hold on to him for longer?
luckyluke 2
My Man Utd supporting friend raves about him, and can't believe we're not playing him more.
Stephen 0
I was impressed with some of his performances for Man United, should definitely play more for us and give Ameobi a bloody break.

Guest Patrokles
Personally I feel that the importance of a striker who can use the ball really well has been somewhat underestimated & that it really does make a huge difference when the balls goes up there and actually sticks. It's why the Bellamy/Shearer partnership worked so well, Shearer's hold-up play and intelligence. Rossi seems to share similar intelligence and quality, though obviously in slightly different ways. sweetleftpeg 0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0wWPkhkaHw Love that clip with Keane every time I see it. Shearer doesn't even flinch while Keane is having a fucking betty.
