bobbyshinton 59
I'm a memebr of one, only use it for socialising, meals couple of drinks. If I do gamble it is on the roulette, 50p a go. Most I have lost about £25.00 most I have won about £30.00 so no big thing. Anyone been fleeced or broke the bank
ChezGiven 0
A friend of mine is a member of a private one in Mayfair and we went in one night, got free drinks, lush scran, played the roulette tables for an hour, i was 600 up and my mate was nearly a grand up. I thought it would be nice to stay and enjoy the hospitality but then thought it might be nicer to take the money and leave. Most i have ever been up off a gamble ever. And the drink/food was free. adios 717
Can't understand playing games that you can't really win. Like poker, haven't played in a casino yet.
Gemmill 44109
Got kicked out of one in Vegas for not having my ID. I was 24 or something at the time and had been playing roulette for ages. They changed croupier or whatever they're called and the next one that came on the table booted me off for not having ID. I'm still bitter about it to this day, the TWAT! ChezGiven 0
The same friend in Vegas last year was playing poker and basically won a $2000 hand and mucked his cards 'by mistake'. He has a convoluted explanation as to why he ended up doing it but he is still a thick twat.

I'm pretty sure the house rules would have allowed the cards to stay in play if they were retrievable, read about a similar case recently. You're right though, probably shouldn't be playing at that level if he's making mistakes like that, or rather he should...what's his number? Is that the one on twoplustwo where the lad tossed his cards and they accidentally touched the players' next to him, who whined to the dealer. I would have made him eat the entire deck tbh. I got ID'd on Sunday by some fatty with facial hair. I just wanted lemonade. (though I was buying alcohol for friends). I just gave my friend the money and told them to go get their own. He refused to serve her even though she had ID in case she was going to pass the alcohol onto me. Fuck SAKE. 'Why don't you carry ID, Ben?' was asked. BECAUSE I'M TWENTY THREE. Its a while since he told me the story but i think he had the hand wrapped up and the other guy called him and he didnt hear him call, thought he had folded, he mucked his cards and then shat himself as the dealer slid his chips away. Apparently the bloke had called 'quietly' when he asnt looking or something.

My mate still needs id and he's 25 Are you on myspace? Aye, if I got IDd often then I'd start carrying it, but it's just the one guy out of 100 who ever asks, so I never bother. But it makes it all the more frustrating when it does happen. I do understand to an extent why they have to be cautious, but at the same time, I'm clearly over 18. The trading standards training video is great now, though. It says 'just because someone has a child in a pram, they are not automatically 18'. So whats Poker then when its not gambling? Im a member of all the casinos in Newcastle and two in Birmingham (used to help while away the boring nights in Telford), prefer Stanleys out of the toon ones. Only ever play roulette in the casino but have had a few good days (with one or two bad ones) basically I never now take my cards with me, just cash that way if I only take what Im willing to lose then alls good. MattM4 0
Last time I went to the casino I lost 20euros on the roulette (definitly not my game!) and then put 20euros into some Blackjack ... was down to 5, then made my way up to 45... phew.
