A bloke that worked in the same taxi office as my fatha had a fare to the airport. The bloke was a regular, every monday morning he'd have to fly to work and he'd use their office to get there. This one monday, they get to the Tyne bridge and the bloke asks the driver to stop. Driver says he can't but the bloke tells him he was shit faced last night and is going to throw up. So the driver stops, the bloke gets out, runs over the road and swan dives straight off the bridge.

That's the way to do it. Not a second thought, no attention seeking. If they're dithering they should be taken out by a sniper.

Can they not put a net under the bridge to avoid this kind of thing?

I suppose it would lead to a fun new hobby for charvers - jumping into the net.

LAss I used to work with was driving home over the Redhugh one night when some lad casually walked towards the side of the bridge and leap frogged over it. She stopped the car and got out but he was pavement pizza by then, landed on the railway track next to the Arena.

if they put a anet up they would just jump in front of a train or something!

In CLS tonight the road was blocked off with about 7 police cars and an ambulance. Im guessing something fatal had happened cos the ambulance shut its doors and slowly drove away. Its right next to a school so i hop to god a kid didnt get knocked down!

Something similar at the bottom of Shields Rd in Byker tonight, anyone know anything about it? There was a lass knocked over outside my office a couple of weeks back and the thud and screams were pretty haunting.

Deaded? Have heard nowt at work tonight so doesn't sound like they were able to be put back together...

It took them a good 20 minutes to find him/her then they appeared to be attempting CPR as they got to the jetty.
