Guest alex
I'll stick up for Ramage here and say he did ok yesterday. He's limited but he keeps on trying to get forward and the likes of Bramble and Carr could take a leaf out of his book in terms of commitment. Basically though, Roeder is making a cunt out of the kid by playing him at left-back and asking him to bomb on. I'd play him ahead of Carr at right back when Babayaro returns until we have a replacement.
Gemmill 44247
I felt a bit sorry for him yesterday when Duff played the ball into him and his only option was to cross with his left. It flew behind for a goal kick and the crowd went mental. I can just imagine the frustration he must be feeling - he must feel like running over to the paddocks and shouting "I'M NOT FUCKING LEFT FOOTED OK?!?". Agreed that Roeder is taking the piss. You can do that with the local lads though (see Shola for another example) because they won't complain.

Sima 0
Bramble was awful like. Surely Taylor would have been a better option. Taylor really isn't much better.
sweetleftpeg 0
Both full backs were twatful yesterday. Seriously worried about Ramage, looked a canny player when he first came into the team, looks worse every passing game.
curry stained pilchard 0
Bramble is an outfield David James. Guaranteed at least one howler per game. 51.234% of the time it's costly...

Gemmill 44247
He's not good enough at right back or centre half, but he at least has a chance of turning in a performance every now and again there. At left back he's a total abortion. Someone brought it up on NO yesterday but can you remember when Alan Oliver claimed that Sven was asking Freddy all about Ramage when we played Chelsea last year, with a view to him playing for England? Taylor has had a slippery moment or two but he's still miles better than Bramble. With a bit more experience he could turn out to be solid defender. He's already better than any of our other defenders anyway.

I think he might turn out alright at CB, to be honest. He's the kind of player I'm talking about who isn't brilliant, and he'll get found out by real top quality, but at least he does his job properly. Tayor hasnt played a lot to be honest, but yes you are right he has been nervy just like the others. But he's not as bad as Bramble, the main reason for that being nobody could possible be as bad as Bramble. Im not complimenting Taylor. Both Titus and him have been bad, but Shambles has been far worse. I still think he can do a better job than Moore and Ramage though
Holden McGroin 6471
Bramble's a lost hope here. He will probably go somewhere else and be a success though. Might as well give Taylor a game. He is now worse.
Holden McGroin 6471
For me, Moore is the only I wouldn't be trying to sell in January...Possibly Taylor. Edited October 16, 2006 by Holden McGroin
aimaad22 4103
Why do people like Moore? He's better than Shambles agreed but he's far from what I'd call premier league class. He had a poor game at Old Trafford and he was no better yesterday. Of course Brambles clowning takes the eye of his performances a bit.

At the moment it's Moore plus Taylor or Bramble as the latter cannot play together and at least Moore has some ability when it comes to reading the game. I'd play Taylor ahead of Bramble for a while as Bramble is playing absolutely terribly.
