Umbrellas

It was pissing down a while ago so I went into Asda and bought one. I've never used one outside of a golf course so when I opened it up and it was a tiny wifey thing I had to bin it and get wet.

Manly golf Umbrella's are acceptable.

if its plain then I could understand it but some of them are downright garish.

Patterned umbrellas are the PITS tbh.

there are many different patterns though, what would you say is worst?

stripes?

checks?

spots??

Talking of Umbrellas, was in tesco the other night when i noticed in the clearance isle there was a load of massive fishing umbrella's going for £1.60 each. I knew for a fact that these retail at anything from £15:00 - £25.00 so i bought the lot and I've now got them on E-Bay, should make a tidy profit

Golf or Fishing umbrellas are ok when you're golfing or fishing but frankly walking round town with a brolly just cause you've got a suit on is noncy.

You see its this type of thing Im getting at, notice the combination of stripey tie, suit, nice coat then ruined with not just a spotty umbrella but both a "man bag" and one of them girlie pull-along suitcases.

brolly.jpg

Poncetastic tbh.

what worries me more is that PP is taking pics of blokes <_<

Worst thing is trying not to have your eye taken out by an errant spoke when it's really pissing it down and everyone has their brolly up.

Photoshopped tbh. Head clearly cropped so as not to send the females into FRENZY!

Wheely suitcase probably full of hetero-woman-pleasing SEX TOYS!

And by the way Sammy, I don't know how you DARE take the piss out of my shoes. I've seen the full version of this photo and I can only wonder at the reaction from your client when his legal representative turned up to court in a pair of orthopedic shoes. What's that all about?! Shouldn't you keep your corrective shoes for outside of work time?

Seems to me that once upon a time it was quite common to see business-men with bowler-hats and wielding brollies like walking-sticks, especially in London, and it seems to me I'd rather be dry than wet & vain <_<
