And threads like this are really helping

The exact same thread has gone down a storm on N-O. Apparently Bush is the new Hitler and the world will end soon so there's no point finding a job.

Not even as a full-time Hitzfeld-bumming webmaster?

HTT has managed to build a shelter out of unwanted Golf course dossiers.

Read somewhere that if it was exploded in Tokyo or somewhere of similar stature more then 200,000 people would possibly die from the fall out or some shizzle along those lines. Its times like these you wish you lived in Antartica...

maybe more - they killed 100, 000 at Hiroshima with a pretty basic weapon don't forget - and all those skyscrapers full of glass in Tokyo.....................

I guess you cant really try and predict numbers for this top of conundrum. Whenever it gets dropped i guess we shall find out probably a year later or so...

The Yanks and our Govt have programs that will calculate casualties - sorry "Effects" - for you

They were used until the 90's for planning purposes

I think far more than 100,000 would die immediately. Then you can double it for the death by fall out. I was at the North War museum in Manchester recently and they have a deactivated 400Kt British fusion bomb (admittedly much more powerful than the Korean weapon is likely to be). If detonated in Manchester, many hundreds of thousands would die apparently, and that is in a much less densely populated area.

any chance of nicking it Renton ?

I have a use for it with Nov 5th coming up.................

No, but it felt wierd being next to something capable of so much devastation, even if it was just the casing. Nice paintwork too. Got to admit I have a morbid fascination with Nuclear bombs, would love to have seen a detonation. Would have loved to have seen the Czar bomba, which allegedly broke windows at a distance of 100 miles!

Having just been in Hiroshima and Tokyo in the last month that's a pretty scary thought. There will be massive loss of life if a bomb was dropped in certain areas of Tokyo, massive as in millions.
