Bombadil 0
Argentines urged to quit West Ham Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano have been advised to leave West Ham by Argentina national boss Alfio Basile. Since the Argentine pair signed on transfer deadline day from Brazilian club Corinthians they have struggled and West Ham have failed to win a game. Basile told Argentine website TyC Sports: "I think they're half-hearted and I'm really worried. They play as if they're unenthusiastic. "I hope both of them leave that club as soon as possible." Basile took over the Argentina post from Jose Pekerman following the World Cup in Germany. Both Mascherano and Tevez were part of that squad that exited the tournament after losing to Germany on penalties in the quarter-finals. Basile added: "I hope for God's sake that Mascherano can go to Juventus as it has been said, even if he has to play in the second division in Italy. "And Tevez can play in any position in the attacking line, but not as a left-winger like he is currently playing."
Gemmill 44430
Who would have guessed what a shambles this thing would have turned out to be on the day they "signed" these two? You knew that something strange was up, but their whole season is in danger of being ballsed up at the minute.
sweetleftpeg 0
Aye, the West Ham fans were strutting around like a dog with two cocks on the day they signed.

JJ 0
Makes a change that it's not us really! Glad to see it's not only us who can make a royal arse of things. This was hailed by West Ham fans as the deal that would get them Champions League football. At the moment it looks more like Championship football may be on the agenda. Optimistic Nut 110
Can't stand West Ham and hate Pardew with a passion. But these two are definitely being made scapegoats. Perhaps if the likes of Konchesky, Ferdinand, Gabbidon, Reo-Coker, Harewood, Mullins etc. weren't strutting around as if they'd made it, just on the back of one decent season, they'd be in a better position. Fact is, they're an average team with or without the Argies...even we p*ssed all over them away from home.

Apparently Anton's nickname is Trio, as everytime Rio gets a new haircut, Anton is sporting it three weeks later! Twats, the pair of them.

Craig 6682
The very fact that it was claimed they were offered to so many clubs (including the top 4) with only West Ham taking them up on the offer smacks of something decidely dodgy going on. I mean even Pompey and Bolton were reported to have said no!

I mean even Pompey and Bolton were reported to have said no! Due to the fact the club doesn't own them probs. They are owned by a holding company. But West Ham still pay their wages but if it all goes tits up they get no transfer fee.

Gemmill 44430
Anyone see that thread on NO yesterday with the link to that bloke's blog (complete with photos and emails), claiming that Pardew is having an affair with this fella's wife. This bloke reckons he's gone to several papers with the story only to have it blocked by Pardew's agent/business manager who is in with several newspaper editors The emails between Pardew and this lass were hilarious. A lad who works for the Times reckons the story is true and the papers aren't running it because Pardew's wife is apparently suicidal over the whole thing. The link was removed by the N-O legal eagles though.
Guest alex
Remember when a certain jug-eared former England striker had the story gagged about him having 'phone sex' with a lass from up here who subsequently topped herself? He likes crisps, allegedly.

Hughesie 0
How much longer is Ashton likely to be out for? Couple of months. On Physioroom.com it says he'll return in Decemeber 2006, so means he'll be back by March 2007.
