Lazarus 0
http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=13275 Newcastle United boss Glenn Roeder has added Graeme Carrick, the kid brother of Manchester United's Michael, to his academy coaching staff. Carrick, almost four years Michael's junior, was released by the Hammers, but has now joined the Newcastle set-up. "Graeme is working for us in the academy with the under-10s, and he has the makings of a fine coach," says Roeder. "We didn't get his brother, but perhaps Graeme will help coach the next Michael." That makes him what - 22?

adios 717
I hope we've had the good sense to add him to the playing staff in case there's an injury crisis.
Optimistic Nut 206
"I've been watching him in training, and I have to say, the way he's passed the ball about alongside those 10-year olds has been a joy to behold and he's looked incredibly sharp. I'm sure he'll turn into a great asset for this club" - Roeder in 10-days after handing him a 2-year playing contract.
adios 717
Actually, what position does he play? If he's a defender or a striker, we're in no position to turn our noses up at Hammers rejects. I'd put money on it this possibility was mentioned in negotiations.
Hatful Of Hollow 0
He's a striker, injury-prone like, so would fit right in.

Shearergol 0
To be fair, it's the under 10's. Plenty of clubs have young coaches working with the kids. Nothing new.
Holden McGroin 6808
To be fair, it's the under 10's. Plenty of clubs have young coaches working with the kids. Nothing new. I'm 26 and know EVERYTHING about the game. I'm sure he iwll be fine.
