Monster 0
I got mine trophies in pewter with their favourite phrases to each other engraved on them. i know it sounds like utter shite, but they really appreciated it. Something about the personal touch. Cost about £70 for the pair i think.

adios 717
Don't you stay in their house rent free? Could you splash a bit more?
Kid Dynamite 7336
And buy what? Im not exactly making a mint at the minute but if a decent suggestion came up id pay the extra. But if its a case of paying £100 for something they will like or £300 for something that will just say 'look how much i spent!!!' then id rather go for the former. adios 717
I just think buying a gift for a loved one should hurt you financially, really mean something. You have a decent enough job, a grand would only be a month and a half of the rent you're not paying. Send them on a sun holiday. I don't know your parents, so you'd probably think of something far more fitting, but the money does count; when you get someone something literally breathtaking, that is priceless. Kid Dynamite 7336
I just think buying a gift for a loved one should hurt you financially Well i guess we have different views on the matter. I dont need to put myself in debt to show my parents how much I love them. But if money talks for you then each to their own.
adios 717
I think you've taken it the wrong way, the digital frame looks nice.
snakehips 0
Been racking my brains to think what I/we would like for our 25th ann. present (it's not far away). The photo frame sounds nice, along with some old pics in it. However, if my kids had spent the best part of a grand on a pressie, I would give them a fookin' slap for being so stupid. I don't want my kids spending money on me. I don't believe in this 'Father's day' rubbish so they are excused buying anything for that, and I have encouraged them to spend very little on my birthday and Christmas (I have honestly tried to stop them buying me anything, but mrs hips has told them otherwise). Anyway, the picture frame and photos sounds nice imo.
