I had a hectic afternoon. My team that I coach beat the team who's top of the 1st division (we're in the 3rd division) 4-3 in the Cup today so I'm a happy chappy like!

Went to the pub. Watched the mighty Toon. Or shitey might be more accurate.

Well least you had one good result today :good: I was only watching our match on TV but i could feel how tense the fans were! I felt it myself, especially where Bramble was concerned :D

Bramble is a lummox. I have no idea what goes through his head sometimes. Although I'd speculate it's nothing.

I felt the tension too in my living room from the atmosphere in the ground. The defence just looked all over the place.

So much easier to understand tho LOL. Pissing down rain here at the moment- quiet night and the sky's gone that odd yellowy grey green... in for a serious storm I reckon. :icon_lol: Red Bull and Zyr.... it'll be a nice night.

When is the actual game for that programme? It's normally quite good.

Surely the celebs have to win this time ?

Though the first match the legends were taken by surprise by how well they played and wont under estimate them again, maybe that was the celebs best chance to win. I think its Peter Reid managing the legends this time, i suppose because Sir bobby has been ill.

Hello from work :D

I hate work :no

Hello skiver

Shurrup you :good:

I'd only be complaining if it was mental busy but 12 hours is a very long time to try and fill when there's nothing crashing through the doors. Work is very uninspiring at the moment.

*cue pager going off and having to run the length of the hospital grounds to labour ward*

ive just thought - your the perfect person to ask about this.

my aunties took bad (been having problems with her waterworks and been in pain every now and again) and was admitted into mistake lane on sat night.

docs have done tests and a few scans and have diagnosed a 'fibroid' (sp?) and its looking like a hysterectomy type thing is the cure.

now - is a 'fibroid' an undeveloped foetus or a regular tumour? or are they both the same?

Nah, it's not an undeveloped foetus, it's basically part of the muscle inside the uterus which develops into a benign tumour. They're really common and can be removed individually or if they're causing bad symptoms or are really large, then a hysterectomy is usually the best way to get rid of them. How old is she and has she had children?

early 40's and has 3 bairns. and according to a scan this fibroid thing is huge. she filled a 2 litre bag after being catheterised.

I've seen a few fibroids removed in theatre and I'm not joking, there was one that was the size of a football. If she's had her bairns and it's causing her loads of bother then they'll probably list her for a hysterectomy. If she has it done at Rake Lane they've got some some lovely theatre staff so tell her not to worry :good:
