Titus Bramble: enough is enough

The sooner Bramble is out of st James's the better i've never known one player to cost us so many points through individual howlers, PLUS he does the entire confidence of the team no good at all so he does alot more damage than most people realize. Hopefully take Luque with him too!

I was watching Manure last night in the Champions League, it suddenly occured to me maybe Baba and Bramble got sent off on purpose to save themselves from the humiliation of Sunday at Old Trafford. He has spent his whole career not getting sent off, why suddenly now, also got injured last Thursday.

I wouldn't be suprised if he was ducking out of difficult games given his current level of confidence. He's a lost cause.

Apparently Roeder is sticking with him tomorrow night.

i think he would drop him if we had any cover. one month into the new season and we're down to 4 fit senior defenders. who could have predicted it?

My first post exactly.

Baba did exactly the same thing against Tim Cahill last season. Can't remember who we played in the next couple of games.

I think it was stupidity in Bramble's case, rather than anything more Machiavellian. :D

With Taylor. Potentialchaos-tastic tbh.

And if someone's going to be the dominant centre-half, expect Roeder to hope it;s Bramble.

:D I've always thought the best centre half partnerships combined a more intelligent reader-of-the-game / organiser type with a brick shithouse to head / tackle anything that comes near him.

Whenever I've seen Taylor and Bramble play together I've got the impression of two beasts but no brains.

Combine this with a hopelessly out of position Ramage (or a hopelessly disinterested Baba, or a hopelessly unfit Bernard) and the usual low quality displays we have come to expect from Carr, throw in our ability to royally fuck up and it's easy to see how it could go horribly wrong.

The best i`ve seen it summed up in a while.

Yup very well put Dr Kenneth Noisewater, while we can criticise Bramble loads (and rightly so), the rest of his defenders really don't help him out. I can't just blame him if a goal is the result of a lack of defensive organisation, but he does however make plenty of screw ups that are only his fault. I'm wondetring if hje's ever going to learn.

Agree with that. Only took a couple of posts to realise that, when I read 'Now this will give Ramage and Taylor a chance...'

For all the talk of us not being much better, I think that line blows it out of the water completely!
