Don't mind the track tbh, but they've mostly passed me by in general anyway

After Kurt did himself in they were the biggest band on the planet, mostly on the back of the for me inferior follow up Melon Collie and the infinite sadness. The first album Gish is a belter too

After that I was listening to different styles of music anyway but definitely think those two early albums were their best.

Ayatollah Hermione 14136
Listened to The 59 Sound for the first team in about 5 years. Still one of the most life-affirming rock albums ever written tbh.

Tom 14021
Yeh it's excellent. It's pretty much pastiche all the way through but it's great fun. Seen them support the manics in Newcastle a couple of weeks back but they only played a couple off the new record.

Meenzer 15765
I still have some of my cassingles from 1994. But no cassette player.
Tom 14021
I haven't seen any of my 'cassingles' from 1994 for an incredibly long time. Which is a shame as that PJ & Duncan on must be worth a fortune.

TheGingerQuiff 2412
Had a go on that newish London Grammar album today, love it. Was singing along to this without even knowing the words, just improvising. To great effect as well Edited September 2, 2017 by TheGingerQuiff

This is what i missed.
