Tom 14021
I used to love The White Stripes but wasn't so fussed on the last couple of albums and have barely given his subsequent stuff a go, but this is a belter jacked right up in the car. I'm really enjoying this record - and whilst the individual songs aren't as good as the songs on Blunderbuss the album in it's entirety certainly is. There's some great records on there and some of the lyrics are frankly bizarre, like he's coming out of character bit. Women need to know, I play dumb like Columbo And get my feelings hurt and move to NY like I'm Dumbo

Gemmill 46201
Anyone remember that song 74/75 that used to be on The Chart Show all the time. The video was photos of kids in a High School yearbook (class of 75), with then a sort of video portrait of them in their current lives - with kids, in a wheelchair, etc etc.

Perhaps a little bit too much.

Happy Face 29
Only heard of them because they're playing low on the bill at T In the park, but love this. Northern boy lyrics/singing reminds of Joy Division and The Smiths but guitar's more Nirvana.
