ChezGiven 0
Art Brut - Formed a band. Going to see them on monday. Were genius. Very funny, lots of improv, great stage act. Official Secret's Act were a canny support too.

Billy Castell 0
Was listening to Super Furry Aniamals-Hey Venus! It's OK, but nowhere near their brilliant best. I'm probably the only person who has bought it.

Big Onion 0
Blur- 13 Their best album in my book. Blue Jeans, off Modern Life Is Rubbish, performed at Scott Walker's Meltdown Festival 2000. I was there, fucking ace gig

Happy Face 29
Eels have got a new album which I've taped off the radio today. Looking forward to it. Supposed to be like Souljacker.
Big Onion 0
Hope so. Souljacker's my favourite I think. I hope there's a tour as well. When I saw them last here (think it was Northumbria) there was a bloke walking round the audience pre-gig in a big fuck-off dog costume. Turned out it was Mark Everett. Think his most recent one was at the Sage, preceded by his documentary about his dad - Hugh Everett came up with a many-worlds interpretation of Schroedinger's cat. Happy Face 29
Mercury Rev - Goddess on a Highway Goddess going faster than she's ever gone before. I must have listened to that album 5 times a day for a year or summat when it came out. Esau Mwamwaya & Radioclit - Tengazako (which samples MIA "all I wanna do - pow pow pow pow - take your money") top stuff.
