Weezer are the musical version of that geeky kid at school that you sort of knocked about with because he could sometimes be a bit funny and had the latest games. Now though, he's not really grown out of it, he's gotten a bit boring and you wonder why you still see him every so often.

great post. great avatar. ;)

Knew you have good taste T-Keith ;)

One of my all time faves who are now gone :icon_lol: are the Amazing Royal Crowns (they had to change their name to the Royal Crowns after their 1st release).

They toured a bit with the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, also worth a listen and the Dropkick Murphys (who I think you know?).

The Porkers, an Aussie ska/rockabilly band. The Fireballs, again Aussie, punkabilly band; The Living End, started out as a Stray Cats cover band and grew from there.

Plus you know Jon Spencer and all his bands, don't you?

Aye I know Jon Spencers stuff. :icon_lol:

Dropkick Murphys I've seen live but I would have them down as something a bit different!

Will check out what I don't know!

The Murphy's are, same with the Bosstones but they toured together with the Crowns.

Another I forgot are The Blackout - Speedball Baby is one of their releases.

I found when I was buying a bit of rockabilly it is released by labels that specialise in the genre, the label The Blackout is on being a good example.

The Raconteurs - Many Shades of Black.

I've always wrote this band off but I'm really enjoying their second album. The vocals, lyrics and guitar work are spot on.

Also I have been listening to Radio Moscow's self titled album produced by Dan Auerbach from The Black Keys. Spot on. A proper rock album.

I fucking love that album(is it not more psychedellic blues or something along those lines?).

Been trying to get more music along those lines, actually Tom.

I picked up Left Lane Cruiser from Fish in this thread, and Buffalo Killers from someone else. Monkeys Fist also mentioned Black Diamond Heavies, which I just started listening too and really like.

Any suggestions?

Left Lane Cruiser sound really good!

I haven't got many recommendations at the moment because it's rare I listen to new music but I'll get back to you when I've though it through!
