Billy Castell 0
I was singing various 80's new romantic songs to myself at work, with a tendency towards Human League. Not actually put much music on the CD player recently, but I might whack on The Doors when I wash up and do dinner.

maggiespaws 0
New Steve Vai album - Where the Wild Things Are Chaotic, fret-wanking mentalness. As ever, he only plays with musicians who are also insanely good at their instruments. The drummer is off the planet and tighter than Mike Ashley's grip on the transfer wallet. Tom 14013
Nah it's a live show. Probably stole the name from the film on the sly though.

I've not listened to any Vai for years. Nowt to do with the film is it? No idea. As Tom says, it's a live album and I haven't listened to any of his stuff for ages either. Came across it and thought I'd give it a go. In some respects, it's standard Vai fare really. I have to be in the mood to appreciate him and currently I'm not so I've turned it off. Whilst Vai is technically the more proficient guitarist, I've have to say I prefer to listen to Satriani. He has a better style. Randomly clicked around iTunes and so I'm now listening to some old ACDC stuff whilst writing a proposal which is well overdue. I fucking hate writing proposals...... I still go to see them whenever they're local because they amazing players. I've not got either of their albums since Crystal Planet though. There's no growth in what they do and there never will be. Air - Love 2 Yes I do see the irony in not listening to someone because of lack of growth....and then listening to Air's latest album, but they're good background music for working to....and Be a Bee seems to have learnt a trick from Fujiya and Miyagi.
