Monkeys Fist 42149
I’m making piri piri chicken and beardy hipster style grain shite for lunch and listening to Zero 7. ( and also getting mildly pissed whilst I’m at it )

Ayatollah Hermione 13840
Listened to that new old Neil Young album last night and it’s solid. “White Line” is on par with anything from his classic albums. Also started listening to Dylan’s new album This post brought to you by yer da.
Tom 14011
The Neil Young album is great & it’s from my favourite era of his music. I’d already heard a couple of the tracks on Decade a really old greatest hits record. The Dylan one is decent but it’s almost like you’re listening to a super villain at times. He’s a bit of a lunatic.

Monkeys Fist 42149
Me and Mrs.F. have just had our English Tapas in the back garden, listening to Chill Out by KLF and wondering wtf we had kids

sammynb 3353
Bill Drummond is the man. I love this off his solo album from before the KLF.
Tom 14011
Listening to a bit Devin Townsend. He’s a mad genius.

He recorded two of my favourite albums ("Ocean Machine: Biomech" and SYL's "City") within a couple of months of each other. Prolific and definitely batshit. All that and a starring role in this soft rawk classic too. (The Epic Sax Guy on drums might be my new favourite person. )

The Jimmy Cauty solo album ‘Space’ was class. https://www.discogs.com/Space-Space/master/63579 And as well as being the other half of The KLF and involved in various other musical projects including The Orb he’s quite a well known artist and did the famous Athena Lord of the Rings poster when he was a teenager

The shit that pair must have got up to! For all my sins I have to edit a three song performance by Crowded House, as if the plague isn't bad enough...
Monkeys Fist 42149
Can’t you just edit them out entirely? ” Ladies and Gentlemen, please give a warm… … Goodnight and thank you.” Bingo.

Instead of 5 seconds of squiggle before the chorus again. Vai actually looking quite dapper despite his dreadlocks and Star Trek uniform

Monkeys Fist 42149
One of my little lad’s favourite songs that-the whole album is a belter, tbh. (That’s Yoshimi stuffing her face at the start of the video, too) This is one of my favourite tracks from that album…
Tom 14011
Currently binging on Dire Straits & I’m always took back by some of the production crimes of the 80s. Just sticking random back vocals in anywhere. “OOooOooo the subject of the song, baaAaaaAby” The two minute Pink Floyd style intro to “Money for nothing” for fucks sake
Monkeys Fist 42149
How they became the stadium band they did still baffles me. ( I may be slightly biased, due to my seething hatred of Local Hero, I know it’s not them but it might as well be.)
Tom 14011
He’s a good song writer and a fantastic guitar player, it’s just everything around him....who is that saxophone player? Where did he come from?
Tom 14011
Reminds me of early 2000s where any vaguely successful band would suddenly have 8 gospel singers.
Monkeys Fist 42149
Is he the same sax bloke that finagled his way in to post-Waters Pink Floyd live sets, because if there’s two of them, that’s even more unsettling.
Ayatollah Hermione 13840
The drum production on 80s rock did more to kill the genre In the mainstream than the Red Hot Chilli Peppers ever did.
