Alex 35079
Shit. He wrote the best songs in Husker Du I reckon. Not that I have a massive knowledge of their extensive back catalogue but I certainly feel that way about the one on Candy Apple Grey. RIP. Think this was my favourite
Meenzer 15525
Fine biffer of a woman who wobbled off this mortal coil today. Didn't look after herself terribly well in recent years. (Never did learn how to dress herself properly either.) Tune, though.

Ayatollah Hermione 13863
Tom Petty was definitely more of an American thing than British but Damn the Torpedoes and Hard Promises are still two tight, tuneful albums. The Heartbreakers were an unreal live unit too and the Live Anthology is good, even though I suggest jumping around it's 4 discs to the songs you know/like. Shame that it takes artists dying for you to go back and listen to them for the first time in years, really.
Gemmill 44864
Liam Gallagher's new album is predictably sub-standard. Two stars. Music to swing a hammer to.
David Kelly 1245
I fancied listening to some Oasis this afternoon so I decided to listen on one that I hadn't heard in ages, Dig Out Your Soul. I remember now why I've not listened to it in ages. They really did become pretty useless post What's The Story.
Ayatollah Hermione 13863
You could have listened to Liam's album for the same effect, I imagine. There was a list of his favourite albums on Apple Music this morning and it seems like his taste hasn't advanced since 1993.

Ayatollah Hermione 13863
Beck's didn't really stick with me, outside of a few Beatles-esque tunes. St Vincent's is excellent though; if you want to hear her play guitar, it's maybe not for you but there's some lush songs on there.
