sammynb 3343
I assumed it was a Black Rebel Motorcycle Club offshoot when i first heard it, but apparently not. Still if you like BRMC, you'll probably like Tame Impala....or hate them for being so similar. Perth band and if you have a listen to their first album, Innerspeak (listed in most top 100 albums for 2010) they are more Loop's offspring than BRMC. Great band and can do it as good live as in the studio. Edited August 8, 2012 by sammynb

Nick the Stripper is probably my favourite Nick Cave song. From the same Australian musical landscape - The Scientist - We Had Love

Gene_Clark 12
Swans "Children of God" tour in 87 were 2 loudest gigs I ever attended, at Leeds Poly (as was) & the Riv (RIP). "Sex God Sex" from that album is one of the most intense things I've ever heard...

Obviously Im at that Dad stage where more modern stuff sounds shit than good, but they just sound like GBH on the eardrums. No nice catchy tune or flowing melody. Lets face it, neither of them is going to make it on to Now thats what I call music.......
