Anyway, Madeline is probably one of my favourite recording artists, and she has a new album coming out very soon. It's released today on vinyl by www.valiantdeath.com but the CD is being distributed by a different label (orange twin) (although you can get her first CD, Kissing & Dancing, from the Valiant Death website for only 3 quid). I like her for numerous reasons, paramount of which being that she makes very good music mainly by herself (though she's added a bit more recently). She's pretty young (I think Kissing & Dancing was recorded when she was 17) and all the more impressive for it. No, though I do have a tenuous link to her, but a) I really really like her music, and she does it for enjoyment and because she loves doing it. However, because she's obviously not angling for a major label deal or whatever, it's not like she gets much promotion. So, you know. Every little helps. Lauren is who lives in New Jersey and is wonderful but not co-ordinated enough to do anything musical.
