Guest Patrokles
Is there any way to make it so that if you edit a post within, say, 3 minutes of the original post, it won't show up as having been edited? I mean, I know it's perhaps possible but that it has to be turned on by the people with admin rights to the board. The irony of an edit in this post is not lost on me. Lazarus 0
speaking of edits - it kinda annoys me that the text to say a thread has been edited of the same font and size as the original text and its placed on the next line down from the text being edited. Craig 6670
Patrokles: Sorry, the only time limit I can set is on the abilty to edit the post (e.g. if it is less than 3 minutes since you posted you'd be able to edit it whereas if it is more than 3, you wouldn't. Laz - it is the same font, but it's a smaller pitch. I've just had a go at editting the php file which renders the line to see if I could change the colour of the font for that line but I haven't cracked it yet - will keep on though... Meenzer 15347
Aye, if I read back something I've just posted and realise there's a typo or some other error that I want to change, I've taken to copying, deleting and reposting my original post rather than using the edit function. It just makes it look like you've backtracked on something controversial or stupid, even in a perfectly mundane context.

Aye, it just looks untidy and as if you're incapable of writing a coherent post in the first place. Ignore me, I'm just a bit obsessive-compulsive when it comes to stuff like this.
