Rambo 4

It's Rambo 3 really, except there wasn't a Rambo 2. Well there was, but it was called Rambo 3.

Are you trying to say that Rambo 2 was the real first one as Rambo 1 was actually called First Blood?

Rambo was First Blood Part Two, aye. So Rambo 3 was really Rambo 2.

Rambo 3 was Rambo 1 really, if Rambo was First Blood Part Two.

I like First Blood but the others have been questionable at best.

It has to end with him lacing Bin Laden all over the shop surely. Muslims burning Stallone effigies pretty much guaranteed.

Would have to be a bit of a turn around...

Afghan Mujahideen

Ronald Reagan praised them as freedom fighters, and the 1988 Rambo III, portrayed them as heroic

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rambo_III

The film depicts Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) on a mission to Afghanistan. Colonel Trautman (Richard Crenna) has been captured while trying to supply weapons to the anti-Soviet Afghan Mujahideen, and because of the particular atrocities of the occupying Soviet army, only Rambo can save him. With the help of the Mujahideen, Rambo is able to rescue Trautman and eliminate the homicidal Soviet commander of that region. Ironically, Soviet troops were withdrawn from Afghanistan ten days before (starting in May 15, 1988) the movie was released.

first blood was a great film but despite all the excitement of going to the pictures with my mates to see rambo even we weren't old enough, Rambo was a pile of shit. I never bothered with the 'third film in the first blood series'

like the ridiculousness of sly making another one though, is this another true story?

You don't seem to want to accept the fact that you're dealing with an expert in guerilla warfare. With a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, to ignore weather, to live off the land. To eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In Vietnam his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill, period! Win by attrition. Well, Rambo was the best! <_<

Tbf, I thought Rocky Balboa was superb after fearing the worst. I'm quite looking forward to the next Rambo.
