sweetleftpeg 0
Was reading the MOTD blog on the Beeb where the Editor, Paul Armstrong, was explaining why they have to show the repeated highlights so early on a Sunday. Anyway, as part of those comments, he wrote this; With Setanta also looking to schedule two fixtures a weekend from next season, there will probably be even fewer 3pm Saturday kick offs… Tbh, my heart sank when I read this. Sounds like we're going to get to a stage where no-one in the PL is playing on a Saturday at 3pm. Piss poor imo, getting worse as seasons have gone on for the armchair fans getting priority over the rest of us. When you think about travel etc it's a pain in the arse. There's a rumour our home game with Man U on New Years Day is going to be put back to 8pm for SKY. Absolute joke if true like.
wykikitoon 21744
Totally agree, I love the 3pm KO, its what Saturdays are made of, listening to the radio. Then after that listening to the results whilst me pa does the pools Gutted

sweetleftpeg 0
Glad to see someone is awake. And as much as you might not like Man U fans, how the fuck are they supposed to get home?
luckyluke 2
That is stupid. Why is Motd on so early on a sunday anyway?

Aye and the Man Utd away fans are amongst the decent ones as a whole too. Also, I like footie at 3 on a Saturday, plain as.
