Isegrim 10017
Why St James'? So Keegan has a reason to scrap them in a couple of days.

Bombadil 0
City had Isaksson, Mpenza, Geovanni, Sun Jihai, Garrido, Michael Johnson, Bojinow and Caicedo playing for their reserves. Happy Face 29
1-1 was a credible result considering Shola played 84 minutes Shola was woeful like. Carroll looked the finished article in comparison. In the second half he was dropped back to midfield and Baheng went into attack. Keegan ran down the tunnel a few minutes after he went off. Presumably to have a word. I can only hope it was to explain why he won't figure in future plans. Kadar did well at left back but none of the other newbies really shined. I wondered why Enrique doesn't get a run out in the reserves or in the first team.
Happy Face 29
...forgot to mention. A less than discreet undercover member of the gutter press was in the Strawberry afterwards. Never stopped asking who we would have preferred to get over Keegan. They're chomping at the bit. Fat Pig* *Kudos to whoever shouted this at the linesman last night too. Happy Face 29
Bored by the fortnight off? Get yourself along and bolster the crowd. .com Newcastle have confirmed that Monday's home reserve game against Liverpool will be staged at St.James' Park, rather than the previously-advertised Kingston Park. With only six Premiership games remaining to be played by the senior side, common sense looks to have prevailed and our second string aren't being forced to play on the same rutted pitch that the Falcons and Blue Star do battle on. Kickoff at SJP is at 7pm, East Stand turnstiles will be open on the night - season ticket holders and members are admitted free, or else public admission is £3 (£1.50 OAPs and young 'uns). With 740 fans turning out last Monday at SJP for the 1-1 draw with Man City, it's safe to say that we won't match the 4,035 who turned out for that 2001/02 fixture. A hugely enjoyable night in April 2002 saw us retain top spot thanks to the win. However with just two games remaining, we were to lose both and finish runners-up by a single point to Man United - our best Premier Reserve league finish to date. So what if the reserves are doing worse than the first team. Liverpool are top so it should be worth free entry.

David Kelly 1280
What was that Hungarian kid like? He's been getting some very promising write ups so far especially if you consider he's just arrived from a different country and he's straight in against senior players.
