I know of three - Alex, Geordieshandy, and Mrs Rents.

The question is, why? Is it a morality issue, or because you don't like the taste of meat for some bizarre reason. My wife's in the latter camp which is fine. Can't help feeling she's missing out though, especially when we're in France.

Having seen Renton and his lass, let's just say - case closed

:(

I'll be honest then, it's a moral issue. I find justifying it to people boring as fuck and unnecessary though, especially when I don't ask them to justify why they eat meat and fish. Alreet fatty? :D

I'm a casual "vegetarian", I'll eat meat when I'm out, but rarely besides that. When I was younger there was a moral angle, but as I thought it out I figured there wasn't (though the treatment of animals is still an issue for me).

For me the inconvenience I cause to people by not being able to eat what they put in front of me outweighs any moral issue.

I love meat (preferably dripping with blood), I just think it's healthier and it's a habit I've gotten into.

I don't mind people eating meat at all but the way most animals are reared in this country is pretty disgusting imo which is a major issue for me. Battery chickens are a good example.

It's a powerful argument.

Tuna steaks aren't vegeterian though!

I agree that animals should be treated as humanely as possible, but if anything the UK probably has better conditions that other countries, so I try and get locally produced stuff. I like chicken but the way they are treated is a concern.

One thing odd that strikes me is that if evrybody became a veggie, all domestic animals would cease to exist, and the countryside would probably become a monotonous monoculture. I can't see how this is desirable personally.

Pets would still exist.

Why, though? I know a bloke who's militant vegan, wouldn't be too happy with the likes of you and your filthy milk. It's all about personal choice, Shirley, and fish are ugly bastards, anyway, stops them staring at us.

Not because they eat fish, rather because they claim to be vegetarian when they aren't.
