England international Owen Hargreaves could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a suspected broken leg.

Hargreaves, 25, came off after 24 minutes of Bayern Munich's 2-1 league defeat to Arminia Bielefeld after colliding with an opposing player.

"We think he may have a broken fibula. We will know more after an examination," said coach Felix Magath.

The midfielder, a transfer target of Manchester United, cemented his place in the England team at the World Cup.

Most overrated player ever tbh

Until fairly recently, everyone rated him as shit, so I'm not sure how that works. He looks a class player to me.

He IS a class player, he was shite for England when Sven constantly played him out of position. How anyone can say he's over-rated is beyond me.

Perhaps this injury will give Parker a chance to get in the squad and prove himself on the international stage..

Just so long as Parker doesn't crock himself whilst on international duty.
