By Extras' standards that was a weaker epsiode, but still great TV as its by "Extras' standards" and with some classic stuff in there. The Bowie song and the agent + Barry with the women standing out as great moments.

Really enjoyed Mitchell and Webb again and Mock the week was on form too.

Throw in Dragon's Den and thats some unusually good TV!

Little Fat Man Who sold his soul....Little Fat Man Who sold his dream....Chubby little loser...

Chubby little loser

National Joke...

No not chubby little loser....

Pathetic little fat man,

No-one's bloody laughing,

The clown that no-one laughs at,

They all just wish he'd die.

He's so depressed at being useless,

The fat man takes his own life....

No No...

He's so depressed at being hated,

fatty takes his own life,

Fatty? Fatso? Yeah, let's go with fatso...

fatso takes his own life,

He blows his bloated face off

No...

He blows his stupid brains out,

But the Twat'd probably miss!

Yes Linda I like that!

He sold his soul for a shot at fame

Catchphrase and wig and the jokes are lame

He's got no style, he's got no grace

He's banal and facile, he's a fat waste of space

Yeah, yeah, everybody sing that last line...1, 2, 3...

He's banal and facile, he's a fat waste of space

See His pug-nosed face

Pug! Pug! Pug! Pug!

Again

See His pug-nosed face

Pug! Pug! Pug! Pug!

Again

See His pug-nosed face

Pug! Pug! Pug! Pug!

The little fat man with the pug-nosed face

Pug! Pug! Pug! Pug!

Little Fat Maaaaaan with the pug-nosed face

Pug! Pug! Pug! Pug!

He's the little fat man with the pug-nosed face

Pug! Pug! Pug! Pug!

:D

David Bowie's song was a comedy scene of legendary proportion. I found breathing difficult.

As you say that scene will go down inhistory along with such classics as the Fawlty German sketch.

I laughed more at that than I did at the show itself... :D

Agreed, it was funny but hardly classic humour.

I've downloaded the first two episodes and its certainly a good watch but nothing amazing, possibly made look better due to the lack of decent British comedies around at the minute.

Just wait for Peep Show to return.

Never really got into it, I keep meaning to buy the DVDs due to the fact that everyone seems to love it.

Mitchell & Webb much better this week. Loved the bloke with the magic flute.

Mock the Week is quickly becoming The Frankie Boyle Show.

Frankie Boyle disturbs me for some reason, although he is quite funny. I like the little bald guy with the beard.

Merchant was on Soccer AM once last season and he was hilarious. Didn't have a clue about anything, didn't follow a club (so they picked one at random for him...Grimsby), and they when it came to the end part where the guest have a go at kicking the ball through the hole, he said, "so you want me, to kick the ball into that hole, yeah?", started running towards the ball as if to kick it....and continued to run past the ball and left the car park.

Gervais's character is so weak, Merchant and Williamson make the show.

Merchant is catching up to Pilkington in the unintentional comedy genius stakes. He's class

Er, I think he's being fairly intentional.

Or have I missed something

I just meant that up til now he's been more of a writer/director but his comedy acting (aided by the fact he's ridiculously tall and strange-looking) is class. I think Gervais can try too hard to be funny sometimes, but Merchant just is.

I know what I meant, anyway!!
