Papa Lazaru 0
By Extras' standards that was a weaker epsiode, but still great TV as its by "Extras' standards" and with some classic stuff in there. The Bowie song and the agent + Barry with the women standing out as great moments. Really enjoyed Mitchell and Webb again and Mock the week was on form too. Throw in Dragon's Den and thats some unusually good TV!

Papa Lazaru 0
is Mitchell and Webb repeated? I've definitely seen a repeat, i think its on one of the freeview BBC channels, but can't remember the night or time it's on. But check the listings as it was repeated last time. ewerk 31770
David Bowie's song was a comedy scene of legendary proportion. I found breathing difficult. As you say that scene will go down inhistory along with such classics as the Fawlty German sketch. I laughed more at that than I did at the show itself... Agreed, it was funny but hardly classic humour. I've downloaded the first two episodes and its certainly a good watch but nothing amazing, possibly made look better due to the lack of decent British comedies around at the minute. Mock the Week is quickly becoming The Frankie Boyle Show. Frankie Boyle disturbs me for some reason, although he is quite funny. I like the little bald guy with the beard. Optimistic Nut 312
Merchant was on Soccer AM once last season and he was hilarious. Didn't have a clue about anything, didn't follow a club (so they picked one at random for him...Grimsby), and they when it came to the end part where the guest have a go at kicking the ball through the hole, he said, "so you want me, to kick the ball into that hole, yeah?", started running towards the ball as if to kick it....and continued to run past the ball and left the car park. catmag 337
Gervais's character is so weak, Merchant and Williamson make the show. Merchant is catching up to Pilkington in the unintentional comedy genius stakes. He's class Er, I think he's being fairly intentional. Or have I missed something I just meant that up til now he's been more of a writer/director but his comedy acting (aided by the fact he's ridiculously tall and strange-looking) is class. I think Gervais can try too hard to be funny sometimes, but Merchant just is. I know what I meant, anyway!!
