So basically, my W810i won't turn on.

I've been playing football, and when I got in the battery on my mobile was dead so I put it on charge, but nothing happens, the battery logo doesn't appear or owt, and I put it on charge over an hour ago.

When I first put the charger in I noticed that on top left (top right in the photo above) of the phone there was a red light showing, don't know if that's got anything to do with it. I tried removing the battery and putting it back in again, when I did this the red light turned off, but i'm still getting no repsonse from the phone.

I'd question whether the battery is holding any charge. Best thing I can suggest is finding someone else who has one and swapping the batteries to see if that makes a difference. Failing that, take it to a shop to check..

At least by that point you'll know whether it's the phone or battery that's faulty...

The charger connections are notoriously shit on the Sony phones, I've noticed. I would mess around with the charger, plugging it into the phone and making sure it's pressed in really hard, turning the plug on and off at the wall and that. I had something similar happen on mine a while back and it pretty much fixed itself.
