X-ray eases Bullard injury fears

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ham/5332128.stm

Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard could be back in action inside two months despite dislocating his kneecap in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Newcastle.

The 27-year-old was in agony as he was stretchered off after a strong tackle with Scott Parker, leading to fears he may face an extended spell out.

However, Cottagers physio Jason Palmer said: "Jimmy's kneecap was dislocated but we reset it within 25 seconds.

good for him. Can't believe that's all he has, the way the knee twisted looked very VERY bad.

Lucky bastard! (sort of) He gets that and Owen manages to be out for a year with an incident that didn't look nearly as bad. :nono:

Owen plays for NUFC that instantly increases the chance of serious injury and the duration you'll be out for!

''its not as bad as first expected. Parker had to be subsituted because he couldnt concentrate after the tackle, was nearly crying when it happened. Visisted bullard that night in hospital. ''

I guess he'll need extended compassionate leave now to get over Bullard's latest setback...

Parker went off injured.

mentally scarred tbh.

from sky: "However, tests on Monday showed Bullard has sustained cruciate knee ligament damage."

that's more like it. Shame because he is a great player and good lad it seems. Oh well.
