Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
Poor bastard has done his right knee this time. Falcons are hoping its not too serious, but with his injury record... Wouldn't be suprised if Woodgate is crocked by 5pm today either.

luckyluke 2
Agreed. Opposition players are always going to know what his weaknesses are, but he seems to fuck something new everytime he plays.

Not straight after the WC he wasn't. He would have been mental to retire at 24 at that stage of his career. He's had an awful time of it though. He should just take a year out of the game to recover and try and make a comeback. If he breaks down again he should probably be thinking about calling it a day. What's the money like in rugby? Is he likely to be set for life?

Papa Lazaru 0
He ended the final with the injury that he subsequently found would put him out for a long while. Since then he's just had NUFC-like luck with injuries and illness including shoulder, neck, both knees, apendix to name but a few ailments. But he'd be mad to retire for many reasons. Firstly he's young, was one of the best players in the world, and the best kicker in the game and he absolutely lives for playggn rugby as mentioned above in that he's percieved as being boring (like Shearer!). Until this current injury it had looked to be over, he ended lasts eason fit, had a pre-season that went well and was apparently looking good and throwing himself into tackles like he used to. So i think he'll definitely keep going.

That gave him the "stinger injury" that caused him problems, but really the other injuries are nothign to do with his amazing tackling ability, he's just had terrible luck picking up about 3 kne injuries, groin/thigh problems (i think) and then random things like a burst appendix and the like! There's obviously a risk when you tackle like he does, but he did it for years without getting an injury directly from it and so i think he's right to keep playing as he does until he seems to regularly suffer injuries directly relating to those tackles. This recent injury is terrible though as it looked like he'd turned the corner and would be back for England for the autumn internationals. Papa Lazaru 0
Hes rugbys woodgate tbh. May as well give it up before he keels ower one game! To be fair, unlike Woodgate he was pretty much alwasy fit and in top form until the world cup injury after which he's had a disasterous run. Because it's not one long term thing happening over and over and is just a freakish run of incredibly bad luck with injuries, illness and the like i think he has to keep trying because if he can get a run of games going he will soon be back to fitness and form and can then hopefully avoid such a random collection of mishaps. But if it does just keep happenign then he will know himself when to decide to say that's it and give up, but i really hope that doesn't happen. The Falcons need him and England certainly do, when it comes to pressure kicking to win games when it counts Charlie Hodgson isn't even close to good enough and England always need that level of kicking. Apparently Wilkinson's mates loves it when he goes out with them, because all the girls flock to him, then realise how dull he is and get picked up by his mates instead! Most Rugby players are complete and utter ringpieces, I'll give you that one.
