Monster 0
I wear glasses because my mum said they made me look handsome and all the girls would like me. Now i'm a socially bereft overweight 32 year old who masturbates to goat porn.
manc-mag 1
Remember some proper jam jar giggs when i was at school. The elastoplast over the lense was to cure lazy eyes wasnt it? It was put over the good eye so that the muscles behind the lazy one were forced to be used more and develop. Or so I heard.
Gemmill 46032
I wear lenses. Didn't need glasses at all until I started work and was staring at a screen all day. Wear glasses at home watching the telly and that, and lenses out, to the match, to work etc. Haven't got my lenses in today cos I'm knackered and they just make you feel even more tired. Jill 0
I'm a specky four eyes.. have been since I was about 7. I wore lenses for a bit when I used to play football but only when I was actually on the pitch, other than that I've always wore glasses. I've considered lenses/laser surgery but I'd feel naked without glasses.

Happy Face 29
Mind you, there's nothing more business-like than popping your specs on your head to read a document, makes you look geet busy. That and removing your glasses altogether and rubbing the bridge of your nose with both hands. Gives the impression you've done a wealth of work. It's my sole tactic in getting a pay rise each year. I've lost count of the number of times I've been on here all day with a load of papers strewn across the desk and someone's popped their head in and said "Oh. I'll not bother you with this, you look busy" as I'm sat reading the board.
Scottish Mag 3
I wear both glasses and contacts (not at the same time though obviously). Whilst I sometimes enjoy wearing my glasses they can become a pain in the arse when its raining etc..

Our system is metric (distance from the test chart measured in metres, lens power in dioptres) so I presume they must use an imperial system. The '6' in ours refers to metres from the chart so I'd take a guess that maybe an american testing distance is 20 feet.

snakehips 0
I am almost certain that nobody on here will have better eyesight than me - both in vision and those colour pages where you have to spot the image/number. FACT! Still have a fat gut though, so I'm not perfect
