Good luck to him if he goes to Portsmouth tbh.  Would be canny gutted if they pipped us to him, but up to him I suppose.  I doubt Shepherd's ego could take being beaten to a signing by Portsmouth though, so I think we'll be flexible on wages.

Skysports.com is a shambles btw, so if that's the only place reporting it, it could well be cobblers.

If he goes to Portsmouth, he's a fucking idiot. Would he be Lua Lua's replacement though?

Sweet irony in us getting trumped by higher wages for once....

You'd take some sort of sick pleasure in it no doubt.

I'm still in two minds over the transfer tbh, as much as we need a striker, the price is extortionate and I'd rather we went for Anelka.

And why do you think signing one would be exclusive to the other?

Fair do's. I've not seen a lot of Martins myself. As a player I like Anelka, lot of baggage though, eh?

We don't seem to be in for Anelka though.

Don't worry, his brothers can help him carry that.

That's sort of my point though. If Roeder was in any way interested in Anelka, signing Martins wouldn't affect that.

They're the problem aren't they? Fucked up his career very nicely thanks. Loaded though.

Ah, now I see. My point was, hypothetically Anelka is a far superior option from a value-for-money perspective.

I get what you mean also. Just think if Roeder wanted him, he'd go for him whether he's signed Martins or not.

182650

Not sure if we could afford both tbh

Because they're not in Europe, not likely to get into Europe, have a shite ground, a wanker of a manager, and some bloke in the crowd who annoys the fuck out of everyone there!

I hear he has to mute the sound whenever he watches Pompy play.

Seriously, if they can convince him that we're going backwards and they're going forwards, with a big wedge and a no doubt greedy as fuck agent on their side, I would be a little concerned.

I saw some white dog poo a few weeks back, thought they'd discontinued it since the eighties.

182660

my theory is that it never comes out white and turns over a period of time. these days because owners have to clean up after their dog there are less left for long enough to turn white.

I know Im probably wrong like but its a theory anyway
