walkinthedog 0
As things are now it's really looking like a mistake to let him go without anyone else lined up imo
Guest alex
At least he gave us some cover which I admit is a turnaround from what I was saying when he left.
Kid Dynamite 7168
In hindsight we shouldnt but im sure at the time we didnt think our top 20 striking targets would all turn us down!

We should have sold Chopra and brought in a new striker - well actually two strikers. Chopra has found his level at Cardiff and will never be a premiership striker. Gemmill 46014
We didn't let him go though. We offered him a contract and he turned it down. Agree though that at the moment he would at least provide cover - if Shola is stricken with something tomorrow the price on strikers can go up even further. Someone's just mentioned it, but if I was Roeder I'd be looking at Anelka again. Guaranteed goals, and he should just look at his attitude as a challenge to overcome. sweetleftpeg 0
He'd just be someone not good enough sitting on the bench, and then not good enough on the pitch. Found his level, good luck to the lad.

Bet Chopra is kicking himself now, seeing that no new stikers have come in!
ewerk 31195
If Luque still can't get a game then I doubt Chopra would, even if Chopra was here I reckon Roeder would still be going with Shola up front on his own.

wykikitoon 20711
Chops was too weak IMO. But some cover is better than non. BUT maybe one of the young 'uns will provide better cover than Chops?

Jusoda Kid 1
If shola gets injured which tbh wouldn't bother me as he's non-existent and fucking useless anyway, FS and GR would only have themselves to blame, prepared myself for a poor season, can you tell?
