Craig 6742
NEWCASTLE UNITED Last year's position: 7th Lawro's verdict: Losing Alan Shearer and Michael Owen is an absolutely massive blow for Glenn Roeder and I'm sure Newcastle will spend before the deadline. Roeder finished well last season, but it's a completely different job now. There was no great pressure when he was caretaker, but the expectations of the fans will be up again this season. In terms of survival, Newcastle will obviously be fine - but the supporters will be looking for a top-six finish. There's an outside chance that they will manage it
walkinthedog 0
I predict Lawros face to melt even further this year, like the climax of Raiders of the Lost Ark that man.
Renton 23180
Spot on except I don't think many fans have much expectations this year.
Tom 14029
I think by the end of the season T-Keith will kill himself from Post-Striker depression and NUFC will still be sufferring from the blow of Souness.
Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
Dr Kenny's prediction: Lawro's co-commentary work will continue to be toe-curlingly embarrassing.
