Pegasus Bridge 0
St Anger? FUCK OFF. Theres nowt in that man, you wanna hear some proper basslines. Been a bassist for 7 years, and the toughest thing i've EVER had to learn was Maxwell Murder by Rancid. Give it a listen, its fucking harsh, I can do it now, but sometimes my speed is a little off. Please download, its a doozy!

Guest Patrokles
White Lines! To be fair, it really depends what style of music you want to play. Some of the 'best' basslines are the simplest. It's all about working with the drummer to provide the foundations of the song. Imagine a metal drummer going crazy wild on a folk ballad, for eg. I put it through a 100w fender bassman and it sounded fucking awesome, loving it Im normally alead guitarist but playing bass is great fun if the other guys are doing there jobs right. Aswell as jamming we got through Bowie - Ziggy Stardust. Lizzy - Whiskey in the jayr The Jam - Eton rifles The Eagles - Take it easy the bass sticks to the drums really well, good purchase theres a pciture of it on my myspace
